Canada: Over the Edge
This aerial-documentary series explores the features that define Canada: the most-expansive coastline on Earth, and the world’s longest, undefended border. It’s a never-before-seen view of Canada - rising up and bearing witness to our nation’s natural diversity and beauty. The meeting place of the ocean and land is the birthplace of this country’s history, and the frontline of climate change. We capture never before seen wildlife, and once-inaccessible natural wonders along our shores.
In addition to zooming in on life and events from above, the highlights will be explored on the ground, as we seek out the most interesting stories and people along our coasts, with our award-winning team of Documentary directors and cinematographers who will bring landscape and history to life in crystal-clear close-up focus. From the urban centres of Halifax and St. John’s, to the remote wilderness of Canada’s world-famous National Parks, this series focuses on the rugged beauty and history of Canada’s Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
